Week 7

Week Seven: September 27 - October 3, 2008
My complexion this week is::
_____ glowing
_____ green
(1/2 and 1/2! Not so glowing, but not too green. I’m doing ok!)

Other welcome and/or not-so-welcome changes of late: Other than some additional “fluff” and increased nausea, not much has changed this week. I am however having continued trouble sleeping! My painful chest and middle of the night nausea are making it harder and harder to sleep.

Baby Development Notes:
The big news this week: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, the baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of the tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Baby Bodkin has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry.
