WELCOME TO MY 3rd TRIMESTER!!!!
I feel compelled to talk about my pregnancy:
_x_ anytime, with anyone who happens to be around
___ only with other pregnant women or new mothers
___ not much at all
:) I love talking about Baby Bodkin's developments and I love being pregnant! However, this week has definitely been the most uncomfortable to date. I am still feeling great (knock on wood), but with my ever expanding belly it is proving to be more and more difficult to get comfortable at night. I used to find the couch very relaxing, but now it seems to be just as uncomfortable as bed. Unfortunately, I am now unable to stay on my back for any length of time. It is bad for the baby and bad for me - I could pass out! I am now forced to only sleep and rest only on my side. Luckily, this isn't really a problem... it isn't even something to complain about! I still feel incredibly blessed to have such an enjoyable pregnancy. Hopefully, the next 14 weeks will bring similar experiences.
Here are a few pics from the week...
Baby Development Notes
Head to heels, Baby Bodkin now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Baby weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but the baby is beginning to exchange his/her long, lean look for some baby fat. Baby Bodkin's wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and start to look more and more like a newborn. Baby Bodkin is also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.
